Understand the feed water
Water characteristics vary with the source. A current analysis supports assessment of hardness, conductivity and other application-specific parameters. Include the sampling location and report date.
Separate peak flow from daily demand
Daily demand informs regeneration and operation planning. Peak flow informs pipework, valve selection and pressure loss. Two sites with equal daily demand may require different configurations.
Define operating conditions
Operating hours, available pressure, space, drainage and service access define the technical scope. Include upstream and downstream equipment in the assessment.
