Requirement: production continuity
Regeneration of a single-tank system can overlap with production. Alternative configurations are evaluated to cover water demand during that interval.
Alternating and parallel are different
In alternating operation, one tank is in service while the other is on standby or regenerating. Parallel operation serves a different flow strategy. Valves, control and pipework must match the chosen configuration.
Choose with data
Provide feed-water hardness, peak flow, daily consumption and available regeneration time. Evaluate service flow and intermittent peak flow separately in manufacturer tables.
